In class we have been learning about fractions. To help us understand these tricky things, Mrs R set up a Fraction Maths Trail. She made a booklet that had 6 different stations or activities in it that we had to complete. We worked with a partner in a group of 6. We moved around to different activities to practice using fractions. The activities were the pizza fraction game, a fraction activity sheet, playing fraction games on the ipad and laptops, make a whole game, basketball shootout and probably the most favourite activity.....Smarties Fractions.
We really enjoyed doing the activities and it was a great way to help us understand fractions.
